Hosted tools

These tools run in the browser: you open them and try them, with nothing to install. Each has its project page, which says what it does, what state it is in and what does not work yet.

Composing with structure

  • BPscript — write a musical grammar and hear it: editor, derivation engine compiled for the browser, MIDI output. Project page
  • Bol Processor 3 — Bernard Bel’s Bol Processor, ported to the browser. Project page
  • Kanopi — a live-coding environment where several languages share one clock. Project page
  • The Two-Vīṇā Experiment — two virtual vīṇās tuned to the Sa-grāma; you move the pegs of one and hear the beats between the two, to redo the Nāṭyaśāstra experiment (XXVIII, 24). Interface in French.
  • ICM — the meta-grammar of Indian classical music, drawn from the Bṛhaddeśī: the treatise’s text, its rules and the formal grammar that comes out of it. Project page
